The most heartbreaking depiction of St. Mary comforting her dying son, Jesus Christ, following his crucifixion. A beautiful piece to add to my Crucifix collection! A very special piece of religious art I will treasure for the remainder of my life. When I look at this crucifix, the Good Friday song, Were You There?, comes to mind!
